We are up and running!! So here's the latest..
We have given our over 85 year old patients their first Covid vaccine shot last Saturday. Here's what that means for everyone else.
1: We are buddying up with a larger practice that have kindly agreed to partner up with us to facilitate the safe administration of vaccines to our patients locally in Tallaght. We are conducting the clinics in the Glenview Clinic. You can find the locations here. There is plenty of parking, the clinic is wheelchair accessible and there's plenty of space for everyone.
2: We will be giving the Pfizer Biontech Vaccine. This will involve two shots 4 weeks apart.
3: The scheduling will be subject to change at short notice owing to well publicised delivery issues nationwide. Here's how we currently expect the clinics to play out...
- Saturday 20th March: 80-84 years Shot 1.
- Saturday 3rd April: >85 years Shot 2, 75-79 years Shot 1.
- Saturday 17th April: 80-84 years Shot 2, 70-74years Shot 1.
- Saturday May 1st: 75-79 years Shot 2.
- Saturday May 15th: 70-74 years Shot 2.
4: We are trialling an online booking system and patients will receive text notifications upon confirmation of booking and text reminders before the event.
All Patients will be phoned to confirm their interest and allocated date and time.
